We offer you the same sort of DevOps support as the big guys, but at a small business budget! Let's take a look at everything you'll get with our managed DevOps hosting.
It's generally considered bad practice to make changes to a live website. This is why professionals use a site for their production website and a separate site for their staging website.
Your production site is what your visitors will see. It will be your website.
Your staging site is where you can work on what's coming next. Its where you can experiment and try new things without having them affect what your vistors actually see.
What happens if the server running your production site unexpectedly dies? Or if some network issue blocks it from the outside world? That's what your failover site is for.
In the event that something happens with your main production site, your failover site is ready to step in and take its place. With a failover site you have redundancy and protection against unforeseen problems.
We will manage your domain name server, keeping it up to date. We can set your production, staging, and failover sites, as well as handle all IP address changes so you don't have to.
We will provide you with a source code repository where your website's source can live. Your staging, production, and failover sites will all be automatically generated from your repository.
You can have up to three accounts for your source repository allowing for team collaboration on your website, or for you to grant web developers access while they work on your site.
We monitor the servers running your staging, production, and failover sites 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's our job to keep the systems running your hosts happily running.
We perform scheduled system upgrades and server refreshes which keep everything powering your hosts current and up-to-date. Additionally, we perform periodic security audits and are able to respond and security threats as they happen.
There is a $75 setup fee which is required before work can start. From the time payment is received and domain name server configured, it may take up to three business days for your staging, production, failover, and source repository to be live. The monthly fee of $150 will be billed at the end of every month. Payment is due on the 25th of the month. Your first month will be prorated based upon the number of days your service is active.
We are not a registrar, we do not own your domain. You are free to register your domain with any registrar you like. You will need to point your domain's DNS entries to the servers we manage, however. If you prefer us to handle domain registration, we can do that, however there will be additional fees dictated by current registrar expenses.
Cancellation will be handled through the support email you will be given. Cancellation may take up to three working days. The monthly fee is non-refundable.
